Reproduced Redemption...To Be Continued

One of my "Blog Buddies" had a quote on her blog and it spawned thoughts inside my head. I thought it fitting to share with you my thoughts today. Here is her posted quote followed by my thoughts afterward. Your comments are welcomed and enjoyed after reading this post. Have a great day! And thanks Linda for your friendship...

"The only true currency in this bankrupt world...is what you share with someone else when you're uncool."~ Lester Bangs

I totally agree with this world being bankrupt, for somewhere along the journey our appetites have led us astray and fed us a lie of what is true hunger and a genuine filling. How am I to pass on truth from the truth that is being taught today? The reproduction of redemption has taken us farther from what is pure, and has left us penniless. Yet, when all has been spent, and our hands and hearts are left void, only then can we find the unadulterated words that our soul longs to hear. And within those words we shall find what we cannot with our hands to fill an empty heart." ~ Joey Davis

Joey, I haven't had to opportunity yet to reply to all my comments but I have to tell you, your comment was delightfully insightful and a beautiful piece of writing. That quote has a very personal meaning for me and has a lot to do with how I try to live my life. It's quite obvious to me that you truly "get it."
"Cheers" to you, Blog Buddy :-)

Thanks for fixin' the typo. You saved me the time of looking up "Reprodured"... I thought maybe it was a cool new word you found that I'd never heard.

(You know, it's forgivable in a post, but not in the title, for heaven's sake! lol And I would totally tell you if you had a booger... not in so many words, maybe, but I'd be sure you got in front of a mirror. As if you don't already spend enough time in front of one. Ha!)
